How far is it to Snowdon?
It is 42 miles away and would take about 1hr 20 minutes to get to the car park at the bottom of the main paths. However, to avoid the huge crowds that turn Snowdon paths into packed motorways, why not try climbing our very own Cader Idris, a beautiful mountain right on our doorstep?
Can we arrange a supermarket delivery to the cottages?
The only supermarkets that deliver to the village are Asda and Iceland. See our Terms and Conditions for more information. We have good Cooperative supermarkets in Tywyn, Barmouth and Dolgellau, as well as a Eurospar in Dolgellau. There is an excellent butcher's shop in the next village of Fairbourne.
